We’ll begin with a discovery call to understand your vision, values, audience, and goals.
This step lays the creative foundation and ensures we’re aligned before design begins.

The Brand Noun Discovery 🢠 2

We begin with language, not visuals. To design a meaningful brand mark, we start by identifying the brand’s essence through a list of nouns. These are concrete things—(people, places, objects, animals, symbols)—not adjectives or verbs. This step grounds your identity in real-world concepts.

➖ I create a curated list of 15–25 brand nouns after evaluating your business.

➖ You’ll review, adjust, or contribute your suggestions.

➖ I then refine this list down to about 15 core nouns for initial ideation.

Concept Storming - 100-200 sketches 🢠 3

Great logos emerge from exploration. I cast a wide net by sketching 50 to 150 rough logo ideas based on our refined noun list.

This is where creative magic happens. I explore:

➖ Combinations of shapes and initials

➖ Negative space

➖ Unexpected metaphors

➖ Visual rhythm and flow

➖ Hidden meaning or twist

Each sketch is intentionally rough, designed to capture concept, not polish. From these, I select about 15 promising ideas to refine digitally.

Vector Refinement 🢠 4

I convert the top 15 concepts into high-quality, black-and-white vector logos using Adobe Illustrator.

At this stage,

➖No colour

➖ No Typography

➖ No mockups

—just a black and white logo icon.

BrandMark Presentation 🢠 5

You’ll receive a clean PDF presentation including:

➖ Each logo is in black and white + white on black

➖ Referenced brand nouns for each concept

➖ Side-by-side slide with all options for easy comparison

This allows you to evaluate ideas based on symbolism, strength, and style, without distraction.

The Brand Trio System 🢠 6

From the 15 concepts, you’ll choose your top 3 directions. I then expand each into a comprehensive brand system, including:

➖ Horizontal, stacked, and badge versions

➖ Thoughtful typography pairing

➖ Full-color palettes

➖ Real-world mockups (e.g., apparel, signage, social icons)

➖ Pattern exploration

You’ll receive a polished presentation showcasing how each system functions across diverse applications.

Refinement Round 🢠 7

You’ll select one final direction for refinement. This phase includes:

➖ Up to 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 of revisions

➖ Adjustments to shape, spacing, colour, or composition as needed

➖ Full collaboration to ensure it’s right
